Chapter Eight: The Michael.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement. Michael Jackson is coming back for 10 shows in July 2009. This kind of makes me ecstatic, but at the same time, it hurts me because he is only coming back to England. I may have to go live in Jolly Old England for a while, because Michael said, "This is it." And that means that this is all. The last time he will take the stage. I want to go so so so bad. But I really don't see it happening.
Mom said I need to get on the ballroom dance team and go to England with them and get her to be a costume helper person. This plan, flawless as it seems, relies on my ability to ballroom dance. As much as I hate to let myself down, I think that there is about as much chance of me getting on the ballroom dance team as I have of looking bad. In other words, it's unprecedented and highly unlikely.
However, I am going to be competing in DanceSport on March 14, 2009 with my friend Ryan. He is in my dance class and we are going to be dancing the ChaCha. It is probably one of the more fun dances out there. I feel like foxtrot was kind of slow and a little strange. I have been practicing my pressure steps and trying to get my hips to move without moving my arms around. It is probably harder than they make it look. But DanceSport should be cool because we get to dance and then we can watch like other poeple dance. Apparently the 2nd best couple in the world is going to be dancing that night. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can go to that part because Glenn is running for Mr. Wyview and they have to do a choreographed dance. I feel like I need to see that. But during the day, I will definitely be watching the DanceSport performances.
That's all that's exciting for today I think.
Love you.
xoxo.

Chapter Seven: Talent.

If a picture is worth 1000 words, this video should leave you speechless. This is Kaitlin and I doing our talent for the ward talent show. We made a dance to "It's Raining Men" and we probably made it up about an hour before the show. I feel like we did a pretty good job on such short notice.
Enjoy.

Chapter Six: Basketball Game.

Greetings. Today is Sunday. I thought that I would share some exciting news. BYU beat Utah in the basketball game yesterday. 63-50. T'was a beautiful thing to behold. The beginning of the game was a little bit bizarre though. The guy who offered the prayer blessed everyone and "especially our guests, the referees and the Sugar Bowl Champion Utes." It was just strange because I don't think he even bothered to pray for BYU. It was the first prayer I have ever heard
"boo-ed." The first half was a little bit terrible and we finished that down by 2 points. However, the second half was glorious, and we ended up winning by 13 points. I loved it. The referees were absolutely blowing the game though. They were terrible. And my throat still hurts from voicing my opinion on their lack of skill.

Also, Kaitlin and I are going to be in the ward talent show tomorrow. We didn't come up with an idea of what to do until yesterday. We have decided to sing/dance or something toWicked's "What is this Feeling?" We figured it was appropriate because we are roommates. Although neither of us is blonde, I think it might work out. We signed up a few weeks ago and we wrote that we would surprise them with our talent so that we would have time to think of one, but alas, it is almost March 2, and this is what we have. It will be glorious I think.

I have decided also that I don't want to drop my Spanish Conversation Class. It shouldn't be too much extra work, and I really enjoy it. I like any chance I get to use my Spanish. It is just such a pretty language. Speaking of which, my Salsa Dancing partner called me Friday night, after not having spoken to him for months. I am taking it as a sign that I am supposed to become really good at Salsa Dancing and learn Spanish and just become a part of Hispanic Culture. Or something. Also, I have decided to read the Book of Mormon in Spanish and listen to it on my iPod at the same time, so I am learning and hearing correct pronunciation. I think it should be pretty fun.
