"boo-ed." The first half was a little bit terrible and we finished that down by 2 points. However, the second half was glorious, and we ended up winning by 13 points. I loved it. The referees were absolutely blowing the game though. They were terrible. And my throat still hurts from voicing my opinion on their lack of skill.
Also, Kaitlin and I are going to be in the ward talent show tomorrow. We didn't come up with an idea of what to do until yesterday. We have decided to sing/dance or something toWicked's "What is this Feeling?" We figured it was appropriate because we are roommates. Although neither of us is blonde, I think it might work out. We signed up a few weeks ago and we wrote that we would surprise them with our talent so that we would have time to think of one, but alas, it is almost March 2, and this is what we have. It will be glorious I think.
I have decided also that I don't want to drop my Spanish Conversation Class. It shouldn't be too much extra work, and I really enjoy it. I like any chance I get to use my Spanish. It is just such a pretty language. Speaking of which, my Salsa Dancing partner called me Friday night, after not having spoken to him for months. I am taking it as a sign that I am supposed to become really good at Salsa Dancing and learn Spanish and just become a part of Hispanic Culture. Or something. Also, I have decided to read the Book of Mormon in Spanish and listen to it on my iPod at the same time, so I am learning and hearing correct pronunciation. I think it should be pretty fun.

I just had to say "Thank you" for sending me pictures & videos of the BYU-utah (notice the all lower-case) game. It was indeed glorious. Participating by proxy via your cell phone was almost as good as being there.
ReplyDeleteBrothers Salvesen, Wright & Englund cracked up when I told them that the prayer was boo-ed. That was a low-class move; but the prayer decider person might also learn a lesson from that event.
