Today is November 17, or #N17 as it is being #hashtagged on the #twittermachine.
Today is supposedly a day for protesters all over the US to stand up and take a "Day of Action" against Wall Street and the 1%.
Ridiculous. It's terrifying and I feel like people are going to get hurt.
Also I am not sure what these people think they are accomplishing with the whole "occupy" movement. They're just chillin'. I feel like if they put as much effort into their jobs as they are putting into protesting the system, they could do great things.
The protest is a joke. Wall Street is not the problem. As my boy Jay-Z said, "ain't nothin' wrong with the aim, just gotta change the target." How are the Wall Street-ers, who are working 80-hour weeks, unfair to the "99%"?
Turns out we live in America. Land of the free and home of the brave. But mostly the entitled, right?
We're a capitalist country. If you hate your situation, get up and change it, but a "steal from the rich to give to the poor" mentality isn't gonna cut it.
